Great value for money. Nice and warm inside, very clean bedding and towels. Easy to find and park outside. Quiet location
First the positives - great location and host communicates well. It was clean and warm, shower was good and towels fluffy. Not so good - the path up to the house is not appealing, a bit grubby. TV only works on apps, we couldn't access the complimentary netflix and iplayer kept buffering. There were no forks in the cutlery tin and no washing up liquid and the oven was dirty. The bed was far too soft and the central heating boiler, which is in the bedroom, kept switching on and off and waking us, it then came on at 7.30 a.m. so no lie-in! The whole place needs a bit of an upgrade.
Nice enough place, basic but pleasant. Our stay was not enjoyable at all due to there not being enough hot water for a shower and there was a single fork that we had to share when we had our dinner. Also, I was charged a £50 cleaning fee on booking but the place had lots of hair and dust on the bedroom floor when we arrived.
