We had a lovely stay at Elvin’s for a friends wedding nearby. The home was large and very clean and the beds very comfy. We enjoyed a walk around the countryside before heading to the wedding and it was very quiet and peaceful. Highly recommend

This is a peaceful, beautiful, stylish and modern gateway to the Lake District. Just off the A66 but very quiet cul-de-sac. We had dogs, children and needed step-free access access accommodation, it was just what we needed. Plenty of dog friendly walks stepping out of the house. The house itself is well kitted out (except some larger pans would have been good!), great WIFI connection, large TV, lots of board games and all you need for a relaxing but fun week. The hosts are very responsive. Would come back any time!
We have had a wonderful few days in the Lake District and Elvin’s beautiful accommodation was the icing on the cake. Beautifully bright and clean - spacious and exactly as described. Our little dogs felt perfectly at home both inside and in the garden. Would highly recommend and feel certain we will visit again!
We had a delightful stay at Elvin's house. It exuded warmth, with superb beds, modern bathrooms, and incredibly comfortable couches and armchairs in the living room. Impeccably clean throughout, the kitchen was impressively equipped. The tasteful decor of the house deserves special mention, as everything was thoughtfully coordinated. With no stairs, it was ideal for my elderly companion. Ample parking space outside added to the convenience. The location is tranquil and perfect for day trips in the Lake District. Elvin is a wonderful host. Thank you for hosting us.
