Très bon accueil de la part de Rosanna qui a été très chaleureuse et m'a donné beaucoup de conseils sur les sites à visiter aux alentours. Le logement est très agréable dans un beau cadre naturel typique de la région.

Esperienza molto positiva, la casetta è ubicata in un luogo incantato tra i boschi del Casentino, Rosanna e la sua famiglia sono molto accoglienti e disponibili, avevamo un bambino piccolo e abbiamo trovato cancellino in cima alle scale e lettino per lui. Luogo ideale per chi ha voglia di staccare la spina e frescheggiare.

The house is nestled literally in the woods. It is a very secluded area and you can come here to be in direct contact with old forests and untamed nature. The house has a charming chalet feel to it, but unfortunately the bottom part is not as light and airy as the photos, we found it quite humid and dark. The upper part though is very nice and fresh. Beware of the street that is right in front of the door if you have dogs or small children (they have to be closely watched), as it isn't busy but cars unfortunately do sometimes go by quite fast. You have to cross it and walk a little bit to get to the beautiful lawn and outdoor area that the hosts are willing to share with the hosts. Be sure to take a walk through their little stream in the back! Also the solarium space going up the house is very nice and in the mornings you can catch some sun with your coffee or tea. If you walk further up you find a nice big clearing in the woods that was great for our dog to run in, and if you go further up the woods you'll find very old, ancient trees and the beauty of these ancient fairy-like forests. We never found anybody in these small trails, so we practically had that part of the forest all to ourselves! Do come by car, and do know that there is no connection not even by your phone, so keep that in mind for emergencies. Do go to Camaldoli and the beautiful Pieve di Romena (very close by) and if you keep going up after Caiano you'll get to Passo della Consuma which has wonderful views and excellent artisan beer and Schiacciata (a type of focaccia).

Even though we didn't meet Rosanna in person, the communication went very well. We had a great time at her place and can recomend it.
