Fantastic place for a retreat or a short getaway. The peacefulness from the surroundings plus the pristine space adds to the overall experience. The place itself provides most of the necessities you need but with the one small issue of having no air conditioner for rooms at one wing. No biggie though as the cooling weather made up for it. The host was also responsive and solved a minor issue we had quite quickly. Will definitely recommend staying here if coming to the region and will come back again in the futures. 5 stars🎖️

We had our family over from Paris so needed somewhere to relax together as a family with 8 adults and our granddaughter 18months and it was perfect as had all double bedrooms not bunks . Plenty of space to be able to be separate when needed and having the kangaroos at your doorstep impressed the frenchies too . The house had everything we needed and more . They had all the nice personal touches and lovely bed linen . The only thing was the showers in the new section didn’t drain well so got quite wet on the floors . Everything was wonderful though and would definitely stay again

The Roo House is simply exquisite. It’s peaceful, impressive and yet you feel right at home from the moment you walk in. It could be the gorgeous colour coordinated bookcase dominating the right side wall as you enter or the gorgeous view of endless trees framed by the view from the deck. The house has two wings which works perfectly for two families. It is spacious enough for a large group of people with very generous sized bedrooms and bathrooms. The kitchen is reasonably well equipped, the bbq was spotless and the outdoor settings are numerous, comfortable and perfect for relaxing at the end of the day with a wine by the fire pit. Or a mimosa breakfast which we also enjoyed! We had a two year old and a dog with us, and we never needed to worry about either of them. Note, the property is not fenced. Lastly, location was perfect. Quick drive to the beach and Dunsborough town centre and within easy distance of great wineries, I can highly recommend The Roo House for any holiday!
