Khang Heritage was beautiful. We booked the ground floor, which had 3 well decorated bedrooms, a large dining place and a good sized equipped kitchen shared between the 1st and ground floor. Kids enjoyed the spacious backyard. Getting a taxi was very easy right from the road outside. We enjoyed the morning short walk to the Changangkha Lhakhang Temple, which offers a nice view of the city. Overall this was a perfect stay for us in Thimphu with kids.

The house is fabulous. It is situated at the back side of Khang Residency hotel which provide service to all Airbnb guests. This way you get the best of both worlds. It has a beautiful courtyard with two apple trees and you can light a bonfire at night. We really liked our stay at Khang Heritage.

The first thing when you see the property comes to ur mind is wow!. Super clean house and surrounding. The major attraction was the apple trees at the backyard. We even got a basket full of apples from the host. We were also provided with the kitchen with all the cutleries so that we can cook. Rooms were maintained.

It's definitely a great cottage to stay if you are travelling as a group. One of the best cottages to stay in Thimpu very close to the city.

What a great find on airbnb. The heritage home is very tastefully done up. After a long drive to Thimphu and a chaotic process of getting our Bhutan permit, this place made us forget the harrowing experience and it set a happy mood to the rest of our trip. We stayed at the 3 bhk ground floor of Khang heritage. So much character to this home that we would suggest this place to all our friends who would like to visit Bhutan.
