Had a nice time, house was great with beautiful setting. All towels were wet and had to put in dryer before use. House accommodated 10 people nicely
Lovely home with all the amenities we needed. The weather couldn't have been more perfect.
This house was great! The kitchen was amazingly well equipped and stocked. The grill was clean. The living space was comfortable - great spot to just hang and read a book at look at the lake. The bedrooms/bathrooms worked well for our group of eight. The deck was a perfect place to just enjoy the surroundings. We visited a few local places (Abandon Brewing, Vineyard View Winery, downtown Penn Yan, Keuka Outlet Trail) and spent the remaining time enjoying the view. Such a lovely spot!
While the house itself is large, with a convenient layout, and well located with a private access to the lake, the management by Vacasa leaves a lot to be desired. The very first thing we encountered was its WiFi network - if a device was left unattended for 15-20 minutes it required another login with a password. After we called we were given a password to a different network which worked perfectly and was almost 10 times faster than the original one mentioned in the instructions. However, this was the only meaningful response we got from Vacasa. Every time we encountered a problem (half a dozen of them) the response came from a different person, and they did not communicate with each other. When the coffee grinder broke at the first attempt to use it, we were asked to send a picture (twice, by different agents) and to provide details of our reservation (three times, also by different agents). Still, in spite of saying sorry for the inconvenience, nothing has been fixed.
The house and location to the water was great, Beautiful view. However, for a house that could sleep 10. Only 2 rolls of toilet paper was not nearly enough. Needed to bring own paper towels also. The frying pans were very old and used. All the appliances were very clean. Though all the bath linens were damp In all would consider another stay
