Staff was amazing. The food delicious. Pool is great and location is incredible. The deluxe bungalow was beautiful. We were aware the due to it’s remote location there would be bugs, however had I’ve known of a bat infestation on the patio, I wouldn’t have booked this place. There are also large lizards that crawl around inside while you’re sleeping. If those things don’t barber you than by all means book this spot, however if you’re going to spend over $300 a night in lodging I’d stay somewhere that is descriptive and honest in their advertisement. When asked about the bats and getting the feces cleaned up, they send s their kitchen staff 5 hours later. Sooo the person who’s making my food is also touching bat poop.

This is part of a large lodge that has multiple units and a shared reception area that has the restaurant, lounge space and leads down to pool. We stayed in a two bedroom unit. The lodge is luxurious compared to the rest of the area. I am new to the amazon and was not prepared for the bugs. Was a neat experience and they do a great job cleaning the units clean and as many bugs out as possible. We were given fans for the rooms. They have a couple dogs that roam freely which we loved and a mischievous little animal who hangs out there who will go thru ur things if you’re not careful. The staff are all super welcoming and are hospitable. They arranged a night walk they the jungle for us (extra $) which was a frightening yet cool thing to do. Puerto mishualli where u can get boats on the river is only five minutes by car.
