What a quiet and relaxing place is Lands End. From the moment you walk into the living space you’re met with 180 degrees of sea views. Everything has been thought of and provided to ensure you enjoy your stay (including a bottle of Janz sparkling - thank you!). Jack and Mary were proactive offering both an early check-in and late check-out and were very responsive to messages. The beach is within walking distance and is a must to walk along and take-in the fresh sea-breeze. Highly recommended if you’re looking for a quiet coastal retreat.
Our stay at Lands End - Oceanfront Retreat exceeded our expectations. The humble beach shack exterior gives way to a well appointed and lovingly decorated interior with direct access to Bass Strait being a highlight. We had a very comfortable stay and our host Jack was quick to provide advise and guidance on local attractions. We were made to feel very welcome. All in all, a delight.
Weymouth was an amazing getaway and this shack helped us relax and take full advantage of our weekend away with breathtaking uninterrupted views of the sea, direct walking track access and thoughtful inclusions that made life easier. Definitely recommend, and we will be back.
We had a wonderful time at "Lands End." The beds were super comfy, and the linen was fresh and soft. Board games were a nice touch and the fire-pit added a cozy vibe to our evenings. The ocean views and the private location made it feel like our own little paradise. Thanks for an amazing stay Jack and Mary! We'll be back :)
We were really looking for somewhere to switch off from Sydney and this beach house was the ultimate escape! Jack and Mary were great to chat with answering all our Qs before arrival, and they obviously have put in lots of love into the spot. We stocked up on the famous Tassie produce and snacks before we left Launceston. From the second we opened the gate we were welcomed by a little wallaby and the sounds & smell of the ocean. Easy entry and we were home! Once we walked into the living room and saw the surf we were ready to unwind. We cooked every meal and enjoyed every sunset, between the fire pit outside and the fireplace inside we were cosy. Beds were super nice and the place was well appointed with all new appliances Enjoying wines out on the grass watching the sea and wildlife was bliss. It’s in the middle of nowhere which is the best part but expect to drive a bit if you forgot the marshmallows or want to explore a town. We will be coming back 100%
