Our host was very thoughtful and very detail oriented. Would love the location close to Lake lure in shopping for groceries with just 11 minutes away. Our host was very good at pointing out places for us to find food and other things to do.

3.5 stars. Beautiful and comfortable. Loft was great for kids. There were several signs of overall neglect. The property had litter surrounding the house, the awning was draped over a tree, the hammock was ripped and unable to use and the heat lamp was without propane. We also came as a family of 5 and were only given 2 rolls of toilet paper, 1/3 roll of paper towels, and 3 K-cups for our 3 night stay. These are all small things, but put together made our stay less enjoyable. Upon arriving in the home, we noticed an unpleasant septic odor that was soon remedied by opening windows and airing out the space. Unfortunately, the toilet was also recently used and not flushed, causing uncertainty of the space being properly cleaned. The home had quirks such as the door handle frequently falling off, the shower pooling several inches of water at the base, and the malfunctioning washer (even with following explicit instructions to wash on the “whites” setting) We did enjoy our visit overall.

Quaint and cute. It was very peaceful and really enjoyed our quiet time in the woods.

Great stay. A more than reasonably priced airbnb a short drive to lake lure. Will absolutely come back here again as I like to go to the lake a few times a year for some R&R. Host was responsive and checkout was a BREEZE.
