Villa Cemara, perched on a cliff face, offers uninterrupted views over the Ceningan channel surf break to mainland Bali and the Nusa Ceningan/Lembongan channel, with it's ever changing colours and tidal flow. Watch the morning sun rise to the accompanying bird song with views to Nusa Lembongan and Mount Agung, through to the afternoon sunset over the ocean to Bali. This beautiful property has wonderful high ceilings and open plan indoor to outdoor flow captures the views from dawn/dusk/night. Villa Cemara is located on the tranquil island of Nusa Ceningan, a short 30 min boat ride from fast-paced Bali. This villa comprises two ocean view bedroom, that open to the large open plan lounge, dining and kitchen area that in turn opens via folding windowed doors onto the top covered terrace which offers all day shade until the sun starts to set. Stairs lead below to the white terrace, similarly covered, from which steps lead down to the open pool deck area, infinity swimming pool and Bali Bengong. The bedrooms are located three steps up from the ground floor with water views. Each bedroom has a king size bed, a wardrobe and an en-suite bathroom. For larger groups there is an option to rent a third double bedroom with ensuite located in the wooden hut at the rear of the property. There is a third toilet that can be accessed from the lounge or pool area. The open plan living room, kitchen & dining room overlooks the spectacular ocean views, with the lower terrace overlooking the infinity pool & further spectacular views. We invite you to enjoy a tranquil and natural side of Bali. We see small native animals from time to time and the local swifts and swallows are famous together with the occasional kingfisher providing with wonderful morning bird song .

The view from the villa was absolutely stunning - pictures don’t do it justice. The manageress Komang took very good care of us - she helped us to set up massages at the villa, a snorkeling trip & tickets for the boat. Thank you for a great stay at an amazing place!!!
Alles was super geregeld. We werden opgehaald bij de yellow bridge. Alles was op loop afstand. Maar toch hebben wij de scooters genomen die super handig en snel geregeld waren. Toen we vroeg moesten vertrekken werd er een taxi voor ons geregeld voor en ná de yellow bridge, kortom ideaal. Het uitzicht is fantastisch en de villa voelt meteen als thuis!
Beautiful villa, clean and spacious. Great view over the ocean, fantastic pool. Komang was awesome, she really looked after us. Organized our scooters and snorkeling and massage. Highly recommended!
Die Villa von Chris und Cece war traumhaft: Schöne Aussicht aufs Meer inkl. Sonnenuntergang, grosser Aussenbereich zum relaxen und ein infinity Pool. Der Innenbereich ist auch gross und gut ausgestattet. Die Bäder sind sehr schön, aber riechten etwas streng und hatten Mücken drin, wegen der offenen Bauweise. Kamong war freundlich und sehr hilfsbereit. Als unsere AC kaputt war, organisierte Kamong innert 2 Stunden eine Reparatur. Kamong organisierte uns auch eine balinesische Massage direkt auf dem Balkon der Villa. Die Massage ist sehr empfehlenswert. In der Umgebung sind viele sehr gute Restaurants. Besonders empfehlen können wir das Twilight und das MyBeach. Das Haus ist nur per Scooter oder zu Fuss erreichbar. Wir kommen sehr gerne wieder.
Die Unterkunft war sehr einfach eingerichtet. Das nötigste war vorhanden. Mir hat leider etwas gemütlichkeit gefehlt wie zum Beispiel gemütliches Licht oder eine tolle Sitzecke auf der Veranda. Der Ausblick war wunderschön! Direkt am Wasser und die Ruhe tat uns allen sehr gut. Die Insel ist ein Traum. Frau Komang stand immer bereit und war immer zu jeder Zeit erreichbar. Sie hat uns direkt geholfen mit unserem Gepäck und uns in die Unterkunft zu begleiten von der gelben Brücke aus. Danke für den tollen Aufenthalt. Sunny

We are a short walk from the spectacular Blue Lagoon, Mahana Point surf break, Secret Point Beach and the newly restored temple. The increasingly popular beach bars along the north coast of Nusa Ceningan are all within walking distance but far enough away not to be heard from the villa. In fact everything in Nusa Ceningan is a short walk away, although most guest will hire a push bike or motor bike to assist to explore the islands.
Nusa Ceningan is a small island some 4km long and 1 km wide . It has one Main loop road . Most people travel by motorbike that are rented everywhere and we can recommend Pak Nova who lives adjacent to the property for ease of rental arrangements.
Push bikes are also popular as is walking. Truck transport is available on both Nusa Ceningan and Nusa Lembongan. A number of restaurants offer pick up drop off services.
