Scott & Tony are incredible hosts. They were both very accommodating and helpful. The Manwaring house was perfect for our group, full of history and very luxurious. I highly recommend booking this beautiful, historic house!

I recently visited the The Manwaring House for an Autumnal/Spooky birthday weekend. IT WAS SPECTACULAR. The home is impeccably decorated, incredibly clean and comfortable. Everything you would expect and then some. From the minute we drove up (greeted by the chickens, hens, and kitties) we felt welcomed. Scott greeted us, gave us the run down of everything we needed, and a little history of this storied home. There were even fresh eggs from the coup! Both Scott and Tony were helpful and responsive. While they were onsite during our stay, we never felt as though we were sharing the property. I cannot underscore how stunning this home is. Whether walking the property, sitting by the heated pool, socializing around the enormous fireplace in the kitchen, or sipping brandy in the library, a lá James & Dolly Madison, you will enjoy all the modern luxuries of a new home while being transported in time. Thank you for sharing The Manwaring House. Hope to be back again soon. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐

Highly recommend this because house. The house itself it beautiful with lots of rich character and the decorations are fantastic. The couple that own the home are friendly and responsive. We really enjoyed everything about about the house and the owners company.

The Host-Tony was professional and friendly The Home-The house was beautiful and very clean. The linens were comfortable, and of a nice quality. The kitchen had everything we needed and Tony had left us coffee, creamers, water (still and sparkling), and an assortment of local snacks. The home is full of history and we enjoyed reading about it in the guest book. The Grounds- The home is situated on several acres and is perfectly landscaped. There is a beautiful pool area and the pool was heated. There is an adorable chicken/duck/geese coop and the birds roam the back of the property during the day. (Tony also left us a basket of colorful eggs in the fridge!). Overall-This was one of the nicest rental properties I have visited. Tony had gone above and beyond to welcome us into his home and provide all necessary items as well as additional items that are not always supplied such as bottled water, shampoo and conditioner and coffee/creamer. I give this a 5 STAR.
