Jake's studio has a thoughtful clean design. The bed is comfortable. The shower, defogging mirror, and bidet toilet are great touches. There are dishes for cooking, eating+ fridge, microwave, & coffee maker. It did get cold inside the studio, but there is a portable radiator heater and the bed down comforter is of good quality. I would recommend a sweater to wear while inside depending on the season due to the cold and also due to not being able to control the thermostat, which I'm assuming is controlled in the main house. The area is quiet. The only loud noise I found was the a/c or heater kicking on sometimes late into the night. The studio is behind the house which it shares a wall with and faces the yard. There's a building on the property adjacent to the studio with some broken window panes. Exterior work could help elevate the feeling of the place so that it matches the inside. Even with this the neighborhood itself felt safe.

Jake's place was perfect for what we needed: central location to travel within north Orange County — not too far from LA, and a simple and clean space. Everything was as pictured and described. The bathroom was particularly clean and modern, allowing us to properly wind down after our long days. The only note would be to be mindful of noise... the space is right behind a house so noise travels to and from! But it wasn't a problem at all for us.

Absolutely beautiful place. Had everything we needed! Jake was super helpful when I had a question about something, definitely would book again in the future!
