Idyllic location in the woods but just a short stroll to lovely quiet beach. House was perfectly clean and well furnished.

We stayed three nights (winter months) - so loved the location and the cottage. It was an extremely wet three days but it was the perfect cosy cottage for wet weather and, washing /drying out our gear. Thank you for a great stay. The postcode provided, (using Goo gle Map) directed us to Keeper’s cottage via Polridmouth cottage which is impossible but kind folks staying there redirected us back to Menabilly House to pick the keys up and we then got correct directions to Keepers.

Fantastic cottage. Beautifully quiet, well equipped and ideal for a post Christmas break. Really grateful for the opportunity to stay here. Well worth the drive from the North East to the South West. Super fast WiFi as well which is pretty great for a cottage in the middle of woodland! The surroundings were amazing. Brilliant for dog walking and only a short stroll to the beach and coast path. It felt special to be driving down the narrow road across the parklands. We saw all kinds of wildlife during our stay. We were hoping to do some star gazing as the nights were pitch black (do bring a good torch) but unfortunately we had perpetual cloud cover. If we come back here in the future, I will need to order clear skies in advance!! We had a wonderful time. Thank you Richard.

The location of this cottage is something else!!! You feel like lord and lady of the manor!!! There is no other home/building in sight! We had our GSP with us for the week and she had the BEST TIME!! Walks straight from our front door. A 'private' beach, along the costal path, only a half mile walk away. Fowey c.2.5 miles walk away, in two different routes. Two of us stayed. The cottage is great. Lots of hot water, and we had to turn the heating down, but maybe because we wanted to have the open fire going! The arga in the kitchen gave lots of heat too, which our dog just LOVED to chill out in front of!! There is a downstairs toilet, which I don't remember reading was there, so a nice bonus, especially if you have five people staying. The living room is cosy. The sofa and chairs are comfortable. Though if five of you then you might feel a little tight, especially if not a close group. If you're booking through air bnb then you might want to polity remind them to leave bath towels

Amazing property in private estate, surrounded by woodland and short walk to beach. Cannot recommended highly enough.
