Nice place to stay when you are in the Jacksonville / St Johns area of Florida. Super quiet and clean. Way better than a hotel.

Dana had great communication throughout the entire trip. We came for spring break, so the weather was cooler on some days. They were willing to open their pool so we could check it out when checking in even though weather was cooler. We took advantage of renting the kayaks , it was very peaceful going down the river. we loved the location as it was away from the busy city, but close enough to get to anything in a timely manner. Over all we would stay here again.

My son and I stayed at the Waddle Inn for our first ever trip, just the two of us. I felt safe on Dana’s property and actually felt sad to leave. Made lots of memories in a short period of time. The neighborhood is quiet, beautiful, and lush with green trees everywhere. My favorite thing was the view from the king bedroom because my view at home is just a bunch of houses. My son loved seeing the chickens, geese and guineas. And, I assure you, none were scary. Dana even left some eggs for us on the stairs. 🥰 We took daily walks to the back of the property where you’ll find the path to the creek. This time of year we had highs in the 70’s and low’s in the 40’s and 50’s. Just perfect. Took my son south to St Augustine for the Alligator Farm, downtown to MOSH, and ate at some of my favorite places - Lola’s Burrito and Burger Joint, Wicked Barley Brewing, and closed out our last morning at Metro Diner. I would definitely stay again and plan to! Dana and her family are such kind hosts!
