Ascend the free-floating spiral staircase to arrive at The Nursery bedroom. Originally occupied by The Starrett's only child Edwin, The Nursery offers a queen 4-poster bed, 2 windows, and an antique armoire. It has a European-style private bath with a tiled shower and antique pedestal sink just outside the door in the hall. It boasts modest water views and a sense of history. The hues of blue with the contrasting gold trim invite you to relax and experience the sense of a Victorian childhood. Each room in the Victorian Starrett House is located on the second floor of the house and includes it's own private bathroom. Please note that you do need to be able to climb stairs to access the rooms. The Sitting Room and dining room are located on the ground floor and are shared with other guests. For the musically inclined, we offer a piano for your enjoyment in the Sitting Room. 24/7 coffee and tea service is available in the Dining Room. Complimentary Wi-Fi is included throughout the home.

We were met at check-in by Allen, who was friendly and welcoming! Overall, our stay was comfortable and pleasant. The only thing we found odd was the fact that, although we seemed to be the only guests, we heard what must have been staff working in the kitchen/utility area below our room late at night. (Not super noisy or anything, but enough to keep a light sleeper awake) Breakfast was good, the host was friendly, and the house itself was lovely and inviting!

Absolutely loved our stay! We chose this place to celebrate our one year anniversary. They surprised us with some thoughtful yummy goodies and the whole experience was delightful. The house itself is extremely charming and the location can't be beat for a weekend in Port Townsend. Will definitely be returning.
I would highly recommend staying here, the home itself is absolutely stunning, and has a lot of history. The host was very kind, and everyone replied quickly to any questions. Port Townsend is beautiful and being such a short walk to the downtown area is great! Although we didn’t stop by the dining room for breakfast, it smelled great, and was all made fresh!
We were met by Annabelle, she was super friendly, informative and accommodating. Great lodging and great breakfast. Loved this place!!
