Welcome to Valle Verde! This modern bungalow style 2 bedroom/1 bath home sits on 4 acres of solitude with incredible views from the patio of the Mancos Valley, the La Platas and Mesa Verde. There’s stainless appliances, concrete floors, and w/d in house. Up to 2 dogs are welcome with an additional fee. 15 minute drive to Mesa Verde National Park, area trails and world class mountain biking. Just a 5 minute drive to historic downtown Mancos and restaurants. Sleeps 5-6 with pull out couch option. Four acres roosted on a hilltop! With ample solitude, mountain and valley views, the quiet open space is easily one of the best parts of the property! Situated in high alpine desert terrain, the land is a peaceful refuge for old junipers from end to end. There are often times deer, hawks, and foxes that can be seen on the property. Important Notes: There are no fence so if you are bringing your dogs with you please be sure that they are on a leash when outside. Guests may not have outdoor campfires on the property due to drought and high fire danger. There is a well maintained county gravel road (County Road H) to access the property and the driveway is gravel. Roads tend to get muddy in the early spring thaw out season. If you are staying in the winter months, all wheel drive is necessary if the roads have not been plowed. It can take half a day to a full day for plows to make there rounds during heavy snow storms. There is a guesthouse at the top corner of the property that is situated 200ft or so from the main house. There is a separate driveway for this unit’s renters and it may be occupied during your stay. There are full time neighbors in this subdivision so please be respectful of noise levels and staying off private property.
