Escape to the beautiful Crabapple Garden Cottage on Diepgelegen working farm, nestled in the picturesque Magoebaskloof mist belt. Come and experience this quaint little piece of heaven with 180° views from this cottage of the Ironcrown and surrounding countryside. Walks through the Woodbush Forest Reserve, trail runs, mountain biking and fly fishing all within close proximity of Crabapple Cottage. This cottage is 7km off the R71, on a gravel road and requires 4x4 access. The cottage is within the main house’s garden. It is fenced in, there are 5 dogs and 2 cats on the property. The cottage is completely isolated from the main house to ensure privacy for the guests.

The Crabapple Cottage is a wonderful slice of heaven. Small, yet cosy and everything just gels so well together. There are friendly dogs on the property that pose no harm. The cottage has a beautiful garden and breathtaking scenery. It is an ideal place for anyone who needs a much needed break with little distractions.
We had an awesome experience, the mist, proper garden, private swimming pool,forest walks x drives and the friendly dogs. The cottage was beautiful, clean and warm. The local restaurants guide was so helpful... What a perfect getaway from the busy city life.

I like the fact that it is very secluded, very romantic and having a private pool really topped things up for us.
We had a great stay at the cottage, the place is very beautiful and serene (really loved the garden). The views are to die for and their pets are friendly.

I am 22 years old, I am a licensed flight attendant but due to Covid-19 lost my job. I returned home to study a BCom in International Supply Chain, online. Whilst studying my parents gave me the opportunity to run the Old Dairy and Crabapple Cottage to earn my own income. I showjump as a hobby and enjoy spending most of my free time outdoors in nature.
