This is a condo-based hotel in which each unit is owned, then rented. We rented through Airbnb, and then the host was another company, Evolve, and then there is the property manager on site, so there are a lot of layers. Check-in was easy, room was generally clean except for hair in the bathroom. The beds were made, but they used a regular sheet instead of a fitted which slid around during the night. Pillowcases are worn thin. Kitchen is not stocked. We like to cook at home for meals and the kitchen had very little counter space, and missing little things like a spatula, salt, paper, a bit of oil or butter which are all pretty standard for an airbnb. Fridge light was strobing. The cleaning folks came through without us realizing they would and we didn't have a Do Not Disturb sign to use. That would have been nice to have, as we didn't need the clean. And we paid $78 cleaning fee, and there was multiple points of pressure to tip the cleaning crew. Where does the $78 go?
