The lodge is situated on Yaxham Waters Holiday Park. Private fishing is included for exclusive use of people staying in the lodge (You need to bring your own fishing equipment and you must have a valid fishing licence). The Mid Norfolk railways runs along the front of the lodge where the steam trains pass. There is an onsite café and children's play area. Wi-Fi is included. We welcome up to two well behaved dogs, but please note the garden is not enclosed however the veranda is gated. Most of our guests return year after year and say its like home from home. The property has been completely renovated to a high standard. The property is all on one level, however there are three steps up to the entrance. There is a gate on the veranda. Please note we do NOT allow electric vehicles to be charged from the property.

Wow, what an amazing place to stay! I booked this for my parents and they were delighted! They couldn’t fault it and they are already excited to return. The breakfast hamper was a lovely surprise. The lodge was extremely clean and had everything you needed and would ever need. Location was fantastic and the lake was so peaceful. We will definitely be returning! 5*!

Great stay
We had a really lovely stay in this fabulous lodge , such a lovely area with really nice views across the lake outside the lodge watching the ducks and views across the fields the other direction and everywhere is super dog friendly even the onsite cafe allowed dogs indoors and its nice walking around the holiday park with the dog . Its great location made it an ideal base to explore all areas of norfolk and so peaceful and quiet meant we slept so well at night , The lodge was much more spacious than it looks and its all very comfortable really comfy beds and had everything we could possibly need for a great stay , really nice breakfast things and everything needed to cook with , We could have stayed longer as we enjoyed it so much

Yaxham is a short five minute drive from Dereham a small market town in the heart of Norfolk. It has lots of the big name shops such as Tesco, Lidl, Morrisons and Aldi. It also has many independent shops, charity shops and places to eat. It has its own windmill which is well worth a visit. It is also home to the Mid Norfolk Railway where you can see steam trains at weekends and school holidays running right along the park that can be seen from the lodge. The North Norfolk Coast is just under an hour away or you can go in the other direction to the East coast in about the same time.
There is parking for two cars at the lodge. There is also a bus stop nearby which goes into Dereham.
