Vineyards and sunflower fields accompany you on your way to our lovingly renovated house. Angeac Charente, famous for it's dinasour era archealogical site is on the border of Grand and Petite Champagne. The Charente is a short walk away and the lovely old stone bridges on the road towards Vibrac offer vantage view points over the river. Cycling routes all the way to Cognac and Angouleme are indicated. In the area you can visit a Potter, a Cognac producing house. A short drive away the famous Cognac houses in Jarnac and Cognac also offer their Cognac experience.

Bordeaux airport is 1hr10 min away, and Cognac airport 40 minutes away. Train routes as far as Chateuneuf sur Charente which is 5 minutes away by car. Taxis are available from Chateauneuf sur Charente train station. Ideal travel is by car. Car hire is available from airports or from Angouleme Train station. Some supermarkets also offer car hire.
