The Hart House is over 50 years old, and was originally owned by my grandparents. Old Goodwood is a safe & quiet neighborhood known for its large lots, mature trees, and many neighbors walk & bike daily to the Goodwood and Independence Parks. It is very close to LSU and City Park. Take it easy at this unique and tranquil getaway, and enjoy the patio, hot tub, and koi pond.

Very nice property! Plenty of space for our group & clean, comfortable beds. Driveway & carport were a plus and the beautiful private patio area with hot tub, Koi pond, and plenty of seating was our favorite place to unwind. Randolph is very responsive to communication and was very helpful from reservation to check-out. Thank you for sharing your property, we look forward to staying again!
This was a wonderful experience for us! The home offered so many small, thoughtful touches and was so much larger than we expected. There were so many cozy blankets and spaces to relax. The hot tub and back yard were like an oasis in the city. We would love to come back.

Very family friendly, lots of jogging, walking, and Goodwood and Independence parks are located down the street. Close to LSU, Independence Park & Main Library, City Park, and Towne Centre. Close to Government street with biking and walking lanes with tons of excellent restaurants and shopping.

HI. We are Karen & Randolph, your humble hosts. We are native to Baton Rouge, LA & have recently retired. We mainly enjoy our time at our beach home in Florida & return to home base often to see our family & grandkids. The Hart House has been in our family for over 70 years. It has so much history and character. It is an ecclectic home in Old Goodwood which is one of the best neighborhoods in town, centrally located, close to LSU. Please enjoy!
