Fruita is an artsy, friendly community on the Western Slope, between Grand Junction to the east and the Utah border to the west. It graces the entrance to the Colorado National Monument and boasts superior access to a variety of recreational opportunities, from hiking and mountain biking areas, Colorado River rafting and fishing, a burgeoning wine and fine dining scene, and live music and seasonal festivals that knit the community together. Downtown Fruita is steps away from the church, with a full complement of locally owned shops, breweries, and dining opportunities, as well as a big chain grocery store. Grand Junction is a large city just six miles away, but you'll find everything you need right here. Welcome home.

Most people drive to Fruita, and there is ample parking both on street and behind the church via the alley entrance on Maple. Once you are here, however, biking and walking are the most convenient ways of seeing Fruita and really getting to know the people and enjoy the area. Our Lady has a dedicated bike shed to securely store your bikes, up to about 15, during your stay.
