It's very quiet and peaceful, close to beaches, cafes, restaurants and other amenities. There was lot of room for kid to run around and play. Enjoyed my stay here with family and would like to visit again.

Our stay at the emerald cottage far exceeded expectations. Everything was beautifully clean, comfortable and our host Margaret had thought to provide all luxuries that families adore after a long car trip- especially grateful for a hot cuppa and sweets!! The surrounding grounds are divine and our little kids loved looking for all the wildlife especially to see kangaroos bounding through the garden. We would absolutely reccomend the emerald cottage as a serene haven for relaxing 🥰

One of the well equipped stays we have had in awhile! Margaret and Tony were lovely hosts that had gone out of their way to make sure we had all that we needed, and things we hadn't thought of. They even had beach towels, kids toys, breakfast items and snacks ready for us when we arrived. 3 minute drive to the beach and restaurant, but secluded from the road with local visitors of kookaburras, kangaroos, rainbow lorikeets and more in the yard. Such a lovely treat to stay here! thank you again Margaret!!

Beautiful location in bush setting about 5 min drive to Emerald Beach and about 15mins to Coffs Harbour. Closest shopping centre at Moonee Beach also about 5 mins away ( has essentials such as Coles, butcher, pharmacy) Well stocked kitchen and very clean. No AC but nice breeze through place and ceiling fans made summer heat OK. Cottage literally next door to owner’s home ( share common covered area between the 2 places) and while I normally prefer more privacy, wasn’t really an issue as we rarely saw anyone.

Marg & Tony are amazing hosts..we really enjoyed our stay at Emerald cottage.. surrounding was peaceful and beautiful.. would definitely stay there if we visit again..
