As well as the shared outdoor space where you’re welcome to roam, this property offers a grassy enclosed garden with a fire pit, BBQ and furniture, along with a private patio with your very own hot tub for dips in the summer or winter months. Plenty of cosy corners lay waiting to be discovered in this converted farmhouse, so step inside and get exploring. The ground floor is separated into a kitchen/diner, snug and a well-appointed lounge, so there’s more than enough space for everyone to unwind during some much-needed downtime. There’s also a handy ground floor WC and utility space down here. Whoever is charged with cooking dinner can enjoy some company in the kitchen/diner, a space equipped with plenty of seating and a TV for catching up on the day’s events. Moving upstairs, find three delightful bedrooms, a king-size, a double and a twin. One boasts an en-suite and the others are served by a final family bathroom that’s fully equipped with a separate bath and shower. Set off walking around the farmland and make your way down to Llanfair Caereinion, the local town just 3 miles away. One of the smallest towns in Powys, you’ll find a small handful of attractions and amenities in this sleepy spot, including the Cloverlands Model Car Museum and the Welshpool & Llanfair Light Railway that follows a scenic route along to Welshpool (11 miles). This border town is a must-visit with the National Trust-maintained Powis Castle and Garden (13.5 miles) well worth a tour.
