The exterior is a beautiful charcoal gray with wood accents, echoing the combination of metal and natural materials throughout the interior decor. Outside, a spacious deck invites you to a private pool, hot tub, and al fresco dining area. The lower patio, complete with a firepit lounge and BBQ grill, is perfect for easy at-home meals and late-night chats under the stars. Inside, the main living offers comfortable seating and a TV, the perfect place to enjoy your favorite shows and movies. Nearby, a spacious dining table is ready for family meals or group games, while additional barstool seating in the fully equipped kitchen (complete with a full suite of sleek appliances) ensures everyone has a space. This place looked very nice from the pictures and upon first arriving it appeared as the pictures indicated. Once we began to settle in, even though it is a higher end place we found the construction and amenities to be of a lower grade-- under-supplied kitchen, towel racks falling off and toilet paper held precariously by one nail, doors that wouldn't shut, and a bed that collapsed in the night that, upon inspection, had previously broken and was held together with masking tape. Once it rained the downstairs toilets backed up and sewage came up through the shower drain. We could not use the downstairs toilets or upstairs bed for the rest of the stay. We sent in pictures describing our concerns. The company (which looks to have many rental sites) apologized and with some pressing gave a small refund of 6% of the total stay. While we liked the design and the location, we do not feel we can recommend this place.
The place is nice, looks the same as in the pictures, but some basic amenities were missing when we arrived - the cooking stove wasn’t working, and the hot water flow in the bathrooms was a bit weak. The host team tried to fix things as best they could, but the issue was only resolved late on the second day, which was a bit late for us (it was a three day trip) - our family had to eat out quite a bit in the meantime. The swimming pool is outside in the woods, which sounds great initially, but the water is a bit murky.
Great private place for a little getaway outside of the city.
