Overall I'd rate the place 4.5 stars. The host was incredibly kind, the place is big for Tokyo standards, price was appropriate for what you get, and the location was excellent! It's only a 5 min walk to a metro line that can take you all over Tokyo very easily. However, the walls are very thin so we heard every conversation, sirens, partiers, and construction all through the night and day. I think that's just part of it being an older building. The wifi works well enough for remote work, but wasn't great for video calls. The bed was comfortable but ended up being a little too small for both of us to share, but luckily the 2 couches can each turn into "beds".

Interesting private spot. The toilet is on the opposite end of the shower. Responsive host. Marunouchi Line Train is 3 minute walk away so super convenient. Thanks again.

What a great location! Centrally located and near train station with so many restaurants and shops to choose from. Within a few train stops to Shibuya, Shinjuku Golden Gai, Tsukiji, Ginza, and so many other point of interests. Our host is super nice, extremely helpful, and amazingly responsive to our questions and requests in English. We can't wait to come back and stay here again!

The place had tons of space for a Tokyo listing! It had all the amenities and Ice was responsive. However, the walls are extremely thin and you can clearly hear partiers outside at night and construction in the morning — challenging for any light sleepers. Obviously not the host’s fault, but bring some earplugs and maybe a noisemaker.

Very solid place and central to adventures in Tokyo. Cool little minimal apartment in Tokyo. Use the heaters to keep you warm if it’s cold outside. Some early morning construction next door could be a bother to lost, but I didn’t mind.
