FORESTA 2 is a modern cabin created with love for you to have an unforgettable stay in the middle of nature with total comfort. Enjoy the privileged views from the bedroom and deck, relax in the warmth of the jacuzzi, watch the dozens of birds that visit us and chill out on the trampoline net. FORESTA 2 is a great launchpad to explore Guatape, climb the rock and do kayaking, jet-ski, wakeboard, sailing, paraglading, horseback riding, hiking, getting a helicopter ride or having an ATV tour. Our cabin has one bedroom, one bathroom with a shower, a dining area, a small kitchen and a terrace with panoramic views, featuring a hut tub for two people and a trampoline net. It's equipped with a queen size bed, a single bed, refrigerator, two-burner stove, basic kitchen utensils, dinnerware and cutlery for 3 and a water heater. Note for April and May, 2024: Due to El Niño, the level of the lake has dropped in all of Guatape and these days it's nearly dry in front of the cabin. Still, we trust you will enjoy the beautiful views of the rock, the forest and the mountains. Of course, from Guatape you can still enjoy water activities such as kayaking, jet-skiing, wakeboarding, etc.

This cabin at Foresta was charming, cozy, and comfortable. It was as if we were in the most chic of tree houses surrounded by all the beauty the Colombian country side has to offer. Easy drive to El Peñón and Guatape. We loved it so much we extended our stay an extra day. Andre’s was responsive and attentive when it came to the process from beginning to end. The cabin does face east so the sunrise is your alarm for the day - this was fine by us as we are morning people but can imagine it a drag for those wanting to sleep in. I would definitely stay here again.
We had an absolutely delightful stay at this Airbnb! The place was adorable, offering a cozy and charming atmosphere that made us feel right at home. The view was truly spectacular, providing a stunning backdrop, especially for sunrise. Communication with our host was fast and reliable, making the entire process smooth and stress-free. We were grateful for the coffee and welcome gifts, which added a special touch to our experience. Highly recommend this wonderful spot for a memorable getaway!

Quiet area surrounded by nature located 2 km away from the Peñol - Guatapé road, 15 minutes away from the town of Guatapé and 10 minutes away from the rock travelling by car. We're 90 minutes away from the Jose Maria Cordova International Airport, or 2 hours away from the city of Medellín.
The last section of the access road has an unpaved section, suitable for all types of vehicles except for sports cars.
FORESTA 2 shares the gate with two more cabins located on the same property.
We recommend coming to FORESTA 2 in a private or rental car, as public transport is very sporadic and only operates at certain hours. Alternatively, we can recommend a driver who can bring you from Medellín or the airport and pick you up at the end of your stay. We can also connect you with a local tuk-tuk service to take you from the cabin to Guatapé, the rock and other nearby attractions.
The cabin has a private outdoor parking space inside the property.
