My wife and I are Orthodox Christians, my wife Greek/Austrian descent, myself descendants of Lewis & Clarke. We are seniors, look like seniors, and have and continue to restore our property at this location consisting of 3 buildings: 2 historical. I am a stone mason so the property has a lot of stone floors, walls, fencing etc. I could provide stone construction/ cutting classes for guests or groups. My wife is retired as founder/administrator of her international adoption non-profit. We have a Carriage House publick lodging, 2 story on the property and an Orthodox Christian cafe in the main historical log house. We are located: within 20 minutes of Flight 93, Que Creek mine disaster, and 30 minutes from Falling Waters by Frank Llyod Wright, and 30 minutes from Johnstown's flood museum and steepest worldwide incline plane, all great places to tour. Our property restoration, church, and family are our main interests. We have a smoke free environment at our property. We are international travelers to Central America specifically Zona 1 & 3, Antigua, Atilan, and Tikal; all in Guatemala. In Eastern Europe we spent a few weeks in Romania visiting Orthodox Monasteries, and much less time in Poland, Hungary, Czech Republic, Ukraine, Austria, and Slovakia. We travel independently or with an Orthodox group. We are hard working people who respect the privacy of our guests but will arrange tours, wagon rides, stone classes, or serve them our freshly roasted on site, Guatemalan coffee. We cannot live without our church, family, pets, phones, and water. Our best friends consist of Nuns and Priests from the Orthodox Chrisitan community. When people stay here they can leave with a historical enrichment as well as a peaceful spirit and rested body. We do not force our religious beliefs on anyone as that would be truely unorthodox. I am a people person with the ability to talk to just about anyone on any issue. Our family is interracial. Our Orthodox Chrisitan cafe has had visitors from all over the world amazingly since we are located in a small rural town close to Amish. We have had Carriage House guests from Central America, Europe, and Cuba and truely hope to expand our international and domestic guest list.
