Centrally located in hip St Kilda East, walking distance to supermarkets, trains, parks, brekkie and bars on eclectic Carlisle Street, or a slightly longer walk to Chapel Street or to St Kilda Beach. Off street parking and huge courtyard for your furry friends. Amenities include heating and cooling, gas fireplace, wifi, smart TV in living room and master bedroom, workspace, washing machine, full kitchen and baby items. Situated in a boutique block, this two-bedroom art deco apartment features private entry, large rooms with high ceilings, hardwood floors (carpeted bedrooms), and a northern aspect allowing for plenty of natural light throughout. The Living Room includes a comfy 3 seater couch and armchair, smart tv, and features north facing double doors that open out to a large private courtyard with outdoor dining table, clothesline, and a kennel in case you are bringing a furry family member. The large master bedroom includes a smart TV, separate work station including a desk and monitor (HDMI cable provided), and northern and eastern facing windows. The second bedroom includes a double bed, with a single bed bunk above for additional guests. Both bedrooms include built-in wardrobes and additional storage. All rooms include timber venetian blinds, and the bedrooms include sheer curtains also. The full kitchen contains stone benchtops and includes full cooking facilities (gas cooktop and electric oven), dishwasher, microwave, toaster, fridge/freezer and a large pantry. Cooking utensils, crockery and cutlery are provided. The bathroom includes a washing machine and washing machine tablets to allow for clothes washing during your stay. A clothes horse is available, as well as the clothesline that can be found in the courtyard. Baby items are also available (high chair, portacot) and can be set up upon request, prior to arrival. There is one dedicated carspace for the property, as well as ample on-street parking on Inkerman Street (no permit required) for additional vehicles.
An outstanding accommodation option. The parking was so convenient, the access was easy for my parents, the location was walkable, the unit was beautifully set up, and there was even a work desk with extra screen and MDHI chord for me to work at. Ideal!
