Perfect relaxing stay, lovely park and pub in walking distance and small town a few minutes drive. Cottage was just like the photos. Wendy responded very quickly to any questions and provided some recommendations for places to eat for Sunday lunch which made preparing for or stay very easy.
Thank you Rebecca and Wendy for accommodating our family for two weeks. We loved the cows!
Lovely place in a great location
Gorgeous quiet space. We loved it—brilliant walks and space for the dogs to play and enjoy the sun. Dogs are not allowed upstairs, and I didn’t see any of the information on the listing before I booked. That as a slight problem but we sorted it. Other than that, we loved our stay and would recommend it. Great place for our dogs. The cakes were a lovely tasty touch too Thanks
The most heavenly of locations. Wendy was very hospitable and the house had everything we needed.

Hello, I'm Wendy and you will hear from my daughter Rebecca who is now running the account for our holiday lets. John and I are proud to have developed our farm and diversified part of the business into holiday accommodation. We have three children who all flew the nest but Rebecca has returned to build her own creative business and develop the holiday lets. The names of The Bach (pronounced batch) and The Shamba come from our other two children and their ventures. Our eldest daughter is settled with her own family in New Zealand and their name for 'holiday home' is a Bach. Our son, Matthew lived and worked in the coffee industry in Tanzania where the Swahili name for 'small farm' is Shamba so we thought it would be fun to bring our kids and their ventures into the naming of our cottages. Boringly Rebecca went to London so it's just 'South' for her! (it is actually Rebecca writing this...) We hope you love what we have developed here and that you're comfortable in your stay.
