Beautiful contemporary space in a self contained unit containing King size bed and Day bed suitable for up to two children aged 12 and under. Ensuite bathroom. Kitchen area shared with one other room. Laundry and wet storage area downstairs.

Ce n’était qu’une nuit de passage entre deux destinations mais c’était vraiment parfait ! Emer nous a accueilli tardivement à cause d’un problème que nous avons eu sur la route. Elle a été très gentille et accueillante. Merci encore !
We were staying at emers place on our way to the Dublin airport. The driving distance was very doable even before the mornings flight. Emer prepped the place perfectly, managed to book us in quite last minute and personally showed us the place. We definitely liked our stay. Thank you!

We werden erg vriendelijk ontvangen en de kamer was naar verwachting. Als student-zijnde was de locatie wat minder geschikt ivm het matige openbaar vervoer - wat buiten de macht van de host is. Over de accommodatie en de host zelf zijn wij zeer tevreden. Ze hielpen proactief mee en waren zeer behulpzaam.

We live in a beautiful rural location just 1 hour’s drive from Dublin, Waterford and very close to Counties Carlow, Kildare and Kilkenny. Our location makes us an ideal base for touring Irelands hidden Heartlands and Irelands Ancient East!
35km to Kildare Village Shopping Outlet/National Stud/Japenese Gardens/Kilkenny City/Slieve Bloom Mountains, 30km to Emo Court/The Heritage, Killenard , 20km to Castlecomer Discovery Park/Rock of Dunamase, 10km to Carlow/Athy/Stradbally/Kilkea Castle.
Laois has also gained a reputation for fast becoming the festival capital of Ireland! Emo's Forest Fest in July is 30 mins away while Ireland biggest music and arts festival, the Electric Picnic, held each August is just 10 mins from our home. For those who prefer a more agricultural day out, the National Ploughing Championships in September have made Laois their regular home over the last number of years attracting a crowd of over 250,000 each year.
The property is only 10 minutes’ drive from Carlow and Athy. Kildare, Portlaoise and Kilkenny are all within 40 minutes’ drive.
