The rental was extremely comfortable and well appointed. The location across from the lake was spectacular! Watching the sunrise over the water, with coffee, was a joy.

My husband and I stayed for a week getaway and some working remotely. The condo was beautiful, clean and well stocked and the wifi was good. Loved the open kitchen and windows! The proximity to restaurants, water and ferry was great. Upon check in I had a question about parking and received a quick text response. St. Ignace was an okay town - quiet overall and very casual restaurants. Went to Mackinac Grille, Buoys and Blueberry Bakery...all were decent. Took day trips to Mackinac Island...twice...beautiful (highly recommend dining at the patio at Iroquois Hotel, drinks at the Cupola Bar at the Grand Hotel, and renting bikes!), Traverse City, Sleeping Bear National Park, and Cedarville U.P. Overall, an amazing week! We also did the Labor Day bridge walk across the Might Mac...great experience! I would highly recommend this condo...very nice.

We had a great weekend away. The location is perfect, right in the center of downtown. Perfect walking distance to shops, restaurants, the pier and the light house. Space was comfy and clean and well equipped.

Fabulous! You can walk to any one of the ferry docks to Mackinaw and the town of St Ignace is filled with lovely people and shops. We enjoyed staying on the "mainland side" of the UP and were able to take day trips to the upper and lower falls in the northern park on the UP and also a fun day in Charlevoix. Great shopping! In Charlevoix, check out Pepper's for amazing women's clothes from her "sale area!" $20 an item and fabulous finds! Yes, I own a $20 Italian skirt. As for shopping in St. Ignace, I LOVED the local store that carried handmade Michigan crafts. There were a lot of unique things there and I loved supporting the local craftsmen and women. I returned home with unique, one of a kind treats for my loved ones. The condo was perfectly described, clean and well equipped. The kitchen is a dream. Yes, there was an immersion blender there. (I do not own one, but appreciated having one to use.) The oven fan did not work so we set off the smoke alarm a couple times. When notified, the rental company said they would get right on it...and it's probably fixed by now. They were attentive and polite and "on their game." Grocery shopping is doable at the local family fare, a bit more expensive than other places more inland, but great supply. Locals in the check out line with us made suggestions on where we should eat. Lovely, lovely people. Mackinaw was great. We biked the perimeter. (8ish miles and flat!) Go counterclockwise and you'll be glad you did as you meet the masses and travel in your unencumbered lane. There are hikes on the island that are also incredible. So, leave the main street and check out the real beauty of the place. The main street is hot and busy with an overriding scent of horse poop meets fudge....enough said. I would return to this rental again. We were only two people there and I can see the one bathroom being an issue if you had four...but, it's properly advertised, so you know the deal. Enjoy your stay.
