The place was just right for our stay. Clean, confortable with a picture window that offered a great view of the inlet and mountains despite the rain and cloud cover. The only suggestion I have is providing directions on the use of the heater, hot water and TV. Really loved the place!

The Gathering Place Cabin was one of the most gorgeous AirBnBs we have ever stayed at. The view is incredible and unparalleled and the cabin had everything we needed and more. You need a car to get there from the airport, dock, or ferry terminal- renting one is necessary in Haines anyway- but the drive was 100% worth it. Would love to stay here again.

Our group had an amazing time in Haines staying at Randa’s place! The cottage is a wonderfully situated with gorgeous views over the water and very accessible to the town and lake. We even had some regular otter guests out on the water every evening! There’s lots to do in the cabin (fire, games, movies, books), and all the amenities we could’ve wished for in the kitchen and bathroom. We’d definitely stay here again and recommend it to anyone looking to enjoy some time in beautiful Haines, AK :)

Although 7 miles from town, the internet was excellent and the view amazing. The drive was simple and short so altogether a wonderful cabin. Perfect for our needs (3 people). The 2 beds in the loft are up a ladder so best for agile folk. Would stay there again if I needed 3 beds.
