Great location with gorgeous views. Although the apartment was clean, there was a weird smell which probably was part of the building. Also the bedside table tops were worn and had water damage. It was fun with all the artwork on the wall just a pitty that some furniture was cheap. Very responsive host. We were a bit disappointed that we couldn’t use the pool or gym in the building during our 4 night stay because building inductions are only held once a week on a Tuesday. This was not apparent from the description of the property until after we booked.
This property came up in the search engine when I put in the location for a 2 bedroom property with a pool. Photos show pool and spa but they were not accessible because you’re required to do a pool induction which only takes place on a Tuesday. I had specifically told James I was mainly booking it for my children and I to make use of pool and spa. Nothing was said and when, after much disappointment, I contacted them about it they said I should have read the fine print!! Terrible experience. I requested a full refund, they have agreed to a partial only, which I am awaiting.
Great views of the city but that's the only positive. Place was dirty, sheets were gross and had stains and dryer was faulty. Nearly everything in the kitchen was dirty and needed a clean. Also you cannot use the gym or pool unless you are able to attend a mandatory induction on Tuesdays. We were lucky to be there for this but others might not. Building generally needs a major renovation and the apartment needs major work. The host was very communicative but unfortunately the property is managed by a company so there is lack of personal care or attention. Host refused any sort of refund even though I spent half my trip cleaning and chasing up new linen. Luckily Airbnb were responsive and sorted things out although it was a long process.
