Place was cozy and cute and basic. The cost ended up being very expensive due to taxes and air bnb additions (650/night, but then almost 300 for tax and air bnb additions). Considering it is the whole place to yourself, his rate wouldn't be too bad of you were sharing the cost between more people would be fine, but we just had 2 so paying over 400/night hurt. I had not read all the conditions carefully - there are zero refunds so once I had rush booked I was stuck with it and I had not realized the final cost. We loved the place, but I should have been more careful for my own financial sake before I booked it. We did have some confusion through our discussions, but Bill and his staff were quick to try and resolve them. He responds within good time, and the tours he set up for us were excellent.

We had a wonderful, most amazing trip! We traveled with 4 adults and 2 kids (7 & 2 year olds). The home had ample space for us all. It rained one of the five days there, so it was nice to be able to just stay in and play games with the family. We utilized the kitchen every day and also ate at all 6 restaurants there (Ptarmigan is delish). The town is small, so everything is in walking distance. Angela & Bram picked us up from the airport and gave us a tour of the town, while also stopping at the local grocery store so we could pick up milk and some groceries, on the way to the house. Another amazing fact about Angela is she is a photographer. We were able to schedule last mintue family pictures with her. She added a little more sprinkle of magic to our already fabulous trip. She is very helpful! We were lucky and one of the nights we saw the northern lights right from the comfort of the home. We just walked out on the porch and enjoyed the dancing lights!

Notre séjour au chalet de Bill a été très agréable. Le chalet est très confortable, la cuisine très bien équipée ce qui est très pratique à Churchill. Les lits ne sont pas King mais ils sont confortables ! La salle de bains est également agréable. Si nous retournons à Churchill, nous séjourneront à nouveau avec plaisir chez Bill !

This is an incredible find in Churchill - the space is filled with pieces of Northern Canadian history, comfortable, well appointed. Our family stayed for a week and having access to a kitchen, a living room and space made a huge difference in our visit. Plus, you couldn't find nicer and more responsive hosts than Bill and Angela. 5 out of 5 would go again.
