It wasn’t as secluded as I had hoped, BUT we ended up enjoying ourselves. Met a couple neighbors who were very friendly. For this mama my fav part was the screened in porch, how private it was and drinking coffee! Overall fam favorite was the hot tub and fire pit!

Kassidy's place is perfection! We stayed two nights as a fun getaway for our 14 year old son's spring break. We all really loved the hot tub, especially soaking in it under the evening starry sky. The cabin itself is charming and zen, and invites deep relaxation. The beds are very comfortable, and the kitchen is well appointed. We brought everything we needed to cook our meals, but we appreciated the oil, butter, spices, syrup and such that Kassidy thoughtfully had on hand just in case. The house is located on a charming stretch of country road off the main road, so it's quite a peaceful place to hang out. There are other houses nearby, but the houses closest by seemed to be unoccupied, perhaps other vacation rental properties. All was quiet during our stay. The screened in porch is dreamy, a perfect spot to enjoy your morning coffee. There is also a fire pit, which we didn't get to use this time. Smithville and Center Hill Lake are 10/20 mins away. We'll be back!!

“Next to Heaven” is exactly how we would describe sitting on Kassidy’s screened in front porch while it rains. This was truly the best Airbnb experience we have ever had. The location is perfect, the property is so cozy, the house is literally our dream home completely stocked with everything you could actually ever need. We have already recommended this place to everyone we’ve spoken to since coming back, and will absolutely return.

we really enjoyed our stay and the hike at Burgess Falls is definitely worth it. It was raining most of our trip but it was great. We enjoyed the screened in porch and even though neighbors are close it was very quiet and peaceful.
