Location: The Grand Beach community of Galveston, Texas (east end of the Island) Beach access: Just 20 yards from the community dune walkover to the beach. Rent BeachBox: Looking for beach gear for your Galveston getaway? We have you covered! Beach chairs and tents can be ready at the house upon your arrival. Message us for details and rates. WIFI: Free high-speed WIFI is available throughout the home. Cable: We provide Roku with access to Sling TV for live television channels. Guests are welcome to log into their own Amazon Prime, Netflix, or other streaming service apps as well. Pet policy: Pets are not allowed. Large Groups: We love hosting church groups and large family gatherings, however groups over the size of 15 guests must be approved prior to booking. Parking: We have room for up to 6 cars using both the garage and driveway. Party Policy: No parties are allowed at our home. Please look elsewhere if that is the intent of your trip. Age Requirement: Guests must be 24+ to book. The heart of the beach house is the open-concept main level, where the living, dining, and kitchen areas flow seamlessly together. Curl up on the comfortable sectional sofa and enjoy a movie night or catch up with loved ones. The dining table located by several windows offers a stylish spot for meals with a view. Soothing natural tones and calming wood accents create a tranquil atmosphere, perfect for unwinding with a steaming cup of coffee in the mornings or a relaxing glass of wine in the evenings. Step outside to the deck and breathe in the fresh ocean air as you soak in the panoramic views of the Gulf. The open living area leads directly into the well-equipped kitchen. The spacious island with barstool seating allows for casual breakfasts or social gatherings. Ample cabinet space and top-of-the-line appliances make preparing meals a breeze. A convenient half-bath is located nearby. Completing the main floor, a comfortable bedroom with two queen-sized beds, large ocean-view windows, and a full bathroom provides a restful retreat. The third floor offers a variety of sleeping arrangements. One spacious bedroom boasts a king-sized bed, two twin-sized beds, a dramatic tray ceiling, and private access to the oceanfront deck. An en-suite bathroom features a double vanity, soaking tub, and a separate glass shower. Another third-floor bedroom features two full-over-full bunk beds, while a fourth offers a king-sized bed. A full bathroom and laundry closet complete this floor. For a truly special view, head up to the private top floor bedroom, complete with a full-over-full bunk bed, a flat-screen TV, and breathtaking ocean views. Just a short walk away, a community boardwalk leads you directly to the warm sand and inviting waves of the Gulf of Mexico. Relax on the deck and enjoy the sound of the waves and the refreshing ocean breezes - it's beachfront living at its finest! This beautiful home is also conveniently located near the shops, restaurants, and excitement of the Galveston Strand. Three adults for business. The patio was a great way to relax at night and get work done. Very happy, beautiful view of the beach and a private gated neighborhood. We stay on the island every two weeks and this is one of our favorites!
We had a wonderful long weekend with our family and grandchildren. The beds were very comfortable with provided linens and pillows. However it would have been nice to have a blanket as the evenings were cool . The house was accommodating and accurately described however there was not a place that we could all gather together. There was not enough seating to eat our meals together nor to talk, play games or watch TV as one big family (16). One of the bar stools was broken and there were no extra chairs. The deck that we could see the ocean would hold 4 people although it was a beautiful view. When you book this large family home know when they say basic kitchen equipment that is what you get. I enjoy cooking and and got ready to fix breakfast and could only find a tiny skillet to scramble 20 something eggs in. There were no prep spoons only salad tossing spoons and not a spatula or bowl scraper. There were plenty of silverware, plates and glasses.
Very nice house. Inside was ridden hard. Lots of stains on furniture. Kitchen was ill equipped (spatulas, baking sheets, large bowls, etc.., etc.. Massive amounts of silverware and plates. The price point was great for the number of people you could sleep. Overall, we were very happy and we would rent again. The answer to ice maker and water filter that were inoperable “were not listed as amenities”. There were opened bags of ice in freezer. It would have been helpful if they stated that you may want to bring these items.
The house was conveniently located next to the beach. While there is convenient beach access close to the property neighboring houses had more direct access through a gate on their property. The fence along this property has no access gate. There is a water view from the house. Much of the view is obstructed by neighboring houses non the less still a good view. All in all it was a pleasant stay with a lot of room and sleeping area. The house was nicely decorated and comfortable. The family would consider revisiting this property.
Second time coming here. Located in a beautiful neighborhood and walking distance to the ocean. Appreciated the availability of a beach cart in the garage. Great restaurants in close driving proximity. Useful, well-organized manual and directions from managing company/ host.
