I like Nakhchivan! Honestly, the hostel and the tour weren't the best, but I had a good time and enjoyed the stay. Rafael and his family (including his uncle's family) are super nice and responsive. The hostel's quiet and everything's within walkable distance. The room's clean and spacious (for a solo traveller). You can also use the washing machine for free. The thing I love the most is the delicious dinners! The things I don't like are the room has no lock and a bit hard to close the toilet door. Also, my room has no heater so it's a bit cold at night. For the tour, the Carpet Museum in Ordubad is closed. Rafayil's uncle took me to a saltwater hot spring instead. I love it. Just tell them if you don't want a standardized route. Rafayil is new in the tourism industry. If you join his trekking tour, especially not a routine route, I'll recommend you communicate your expectations to a trekking guide and bring your own first-aid kit and headlight (after sunset). Anyway, I recommend it.

Noa Hostel is the single best place to stay in Nakhchivan! Rafayil and his family took amazing care of me, not just providing a very comfortable place to stay but also cooking delicious food, spending time together, and showing me the beautiful nature abd sights that Nakhchivan has to offer. My time here ended up feeling very short with them. Do no hesitate to come stay here and stay for a while!

It's not about great accomodation and place to stay - more than that, it's about connecting with a local family and having the best Nakhchivan exploration advice from the local host! Rafayil was always there to answer all the questions during our stay in Nakhchivan (and even before that!). Rafayil himself organizes hiking tours and helps with getting - non-ripoff - drives to places of interest. You can expect to be fully covered to have a fascinating time in this beautiful region. When it comes to the accomodation itself, it was superb, spacious and very comfortable. Would definitely come back!

I stayed at this place for 3 nights. In the first day, I joined to eco-tour operated by Rafayil, where I enjoyed hiking in the snowy mountains there. I also met with Rafael's family and local friends and had conversations about Nakhchivan, Azerbaijani, Japanese and Iranian culture. It was a very special experience, different from a regular Airbnb stays.
