We loved our month long stay at Ernie’s! We were on foot and it was easy to walk to the gondola for the lift or bus stops to the CA and NV side. The house was very comfortable, cozy, ambient, and well equipped. We needed a few extra kitchen implements to make cooking easier for our long stay and Ernie responded quickly to provide them. The house was very comfortable for us to hang out, for my husband to work remotely, sleep and cook. One weekend a friend joined us and the sleeper was not as comfortable as the bed, but luckily we only needed that briefly. I recommend eye shades as the neighboring buildings on the two bedroom window sides keep their lights on during the night.

Ernie was fantastic. He was very amenable to our needs. We told him we needed to stay while searching for a home to purchase and he allowed us to change the dates as needed for what worked for us. He would respond almost immediately to messages and communication overall was great. Would absolutely recommend a stay in this place.

The place was great and Ernie was so accommodating. The place has everything you could need for a stay and a big yard for the pups. It’s located close to stateline, so a short walk for shops and restaurants, but the house is super quiet and feels very private.
