A two bedroom light filled apartment on the second floor of an 1850 Victorian. It has an open concept kitchen, dining and living room. the large porch is a great place to hang out with table, chairs and rockers. The house and neighborhood is quiet but you can walk anywhere in minutes. Restaurants, theaters, galleries, the post office, library and public transit are all minutes away by foot. There are miles of trails just 3 blocks from the house and the West River to swim in. The apartment is on the second floor of a 150 year old house. It has a private entrance on to a large porch over looking the back yard. The apartment has 2 bedrooms, an open concept kitchen, dining room and living room. A dedicated workspace is in one bedroom with fast internet. The kitchen is well equipped with dishwasher and bar seating. The living room has 52 inch smart TV and fold out couch. There are hardwood floors, airtight vinyl windows, 3 closets and plenty of sunlight from the many windows. A shared in-house laundry is available in the building.

Sylvia's apartment in Brattleboro is in the perfect location. The neighbourhood is very walkable and has lots to do. Sylvia is a great host and sent a long list of nearly everything there is to do in the area. The apartment itself is wonderful and is larger than the pictures make it look. I would absolutely recommend staying at the apartment if you're looking to come to Brattleboro.
Sylvia's place provided a wonderful. peaceful environment during a very hard time. The location was walking distance to shops and trails, which was critical for me in a smaller town that didn't have Uber. There was a fully equipped kitchen and I especially appreciated the mugs and electric tea kettle. Sylvia was a very kind Air B and B host who went above and beyond in many areas, making me feel at home both in Brattleboro and in the neighborhood.
Sylvia’s apartment is just lovely. She is such a thoughtful and responsive host—we communicated even before I booked because I had questions. Fluffy towels, comfy beds, great kitchen: it’s everything you want in an Airbnb. She’d even left us fresh flowers and pears from her garden! The location is great, just a 5min walk to downtown Brattleboro and she has off street parking which is so convenient. Highly recommend and will definitely book again next time we’re in the area!
Stayed at Sylvia’s place to see a show at the Stone Church. It is which is walking distance away. She was extremely helpful with all of her recommendations of the surrounding area. We’d gladly stay again.
Beautiful space and ideal location for Brattleboro. I am from the area but needed to rent a place for my friends. It's a lovely place, great kitchen and so close and easy to access downtown Brattleboro and nearby woodsy trails. Highly recommend it!

Grove Street is an ideal in-town location. It is in a residential neighborhood, but the house is just one block from the post office, the library, and galleries & restaurants on Main street. We are a short walk from the Brattleboro Food Coop. It is also a short walk to miles of wooded trails where you can ski or hike. The ski jump where international competitions take place is a 15 minute walk from the house. It is also a 20 minute walk to the West River trails and the Connecticut River. There are views of Mt. Wantastiquet from the house which has wonderful foliage in the fall.
The house is 6 blocks from the train station. There are two train routes in Vermont; the Vermonter runs between Washington DC to St. Albans Vermont. The Ethan Allen Express runs from NY city to Burlington Vt.
You can reach shops in the downtown on foot. There is free parking on the premises.
