I don't know if I can say enough great things about the lodge and Mary's accommodations. We held a small (17 people), private wedding ceremony for my son and his fiancé' and the South Shore Lodge was the most perfect venue that we could have ever hoped for. It's beautiful scenery with the lake in the background, the stone fireplace, and the spacious, down-to-earth, homey cabin/lodge that accommodated all of our guests was truly amazing and unforgettable! Super clean and comfortable accommodations! Mary's friend, Ruth, even also offered to cater a dinner for us in the Sandpiper Inn, which is located next door. It was the perfect, magical day! Mary and Ruth worked very hard and provided such a beautiful and elegant dinner for us. They are both so thoughtful and creative and so generous. I would highly recommend South Shore Resort for a small gathering. We will certainly be back for more family events. Thank you Mary and Ruth for such a memorable stay !
