It’s important to note that although we’re close to many of the popular cafes/yoga/massage and Padang Beach, it’s still recommended that you rent a scooter. If you are walking it’s around a 10 minute walk to the main street and around 20 minutes walk to the popular Padang Beach. At night our area can be very dark and there are no streetlights so please keep this detail in mind when booking our property. The Gojek service is a very easy service which can drop and pick you up from wherever so this may be an option for you.
Also please note that we are located in the forest so yes there may be dogs roaming about, occasional monkeys, birds and bugs.

Uluwatu is hilly, greener and not flat like Seminyak or Canggu. The streets aren't all congested or fully lined with shops yet so everything is much more spread out! It's harder to see everything just by walking. To get around and fully explore the area we'd suggest getting yourself a scooter.
Here are some other easy and economical ways to get around:
Scooter: Best way to see Bali! Be careful and make sure you have travel insurance to be safe.
Gojek: The cheapest service. Just download the app and pinpoint your location and a Gojek scooter will pick you up!
Bluebird Taxi: These Taxi's have a meter but they're not always available in every location.
Private Driver: Pretty economical if there's a 3 or more people doing a day trip/airport shuttle service.
They're much more comfier for these journeys and have aircon which is a plus in Bali! They can also take a little longer due to the roads being very busy and narrow.
