Enjoy the full kitchen, free street parking, wi-fi, Netflix, 40" screen TV, tea/coffee, travel crib, washer/dryer, and memory foam mattresses. This is a non-smoking ground floor apartment (with a few scuffs and nicks) located in a residential neighborhood in urban Oakland. All races, genders, ages, and orientations are welcome. On the borders of Berkeley/Oakland/Emeryville LOCATION/TRANSPORTATION: *10 minutes' drive to UC Berkeley. *1 mile from Ashby BART; 15-20 minutes by foot. *1 mile from Emeryville Amtrak; 15-20 minutes by foot. *SFO is 22 miles away; 55 minutes by BART. *OAK is 13 miles away; 33 minutes by BART. *Oakland Coliseum—-1 mile from Ashby BART, then 21-25 minutes on BART, then 4 mins on foot. *Downtown SF is 20-50 minutes by car (depends on traffic and time of day) and 45-ish minutes when going by foot + public transportation. SOUND/QUIET HOURS: - bottom-floor unit - footsteps and the sounds of a child (or children) playing occasionally. If you are noise sensitive, this is not the place for you. If you like to make lots of noise, this is also not the place for you! - no parties, please. - we do have a white noise machine (with different settings) in the bedroom. - quiet hours from 10pm - 7am (sleeping hours). OVERVIEW: A bit scruffy on the outside but light-filled and cozy on the inside, OverEasy is the 650 sq ft (60 meters squared) bottom unit of SunnySideUp (a 1908 craftsman bungalow). It has private entrances and a keypad for flexible entry after 3pm. PARKING: Easy to find free street parking within a one-block radius when coming home at night. Please note signs for street cleaning. BEDS: Bedroom: delicious queen-sized memory foam mattress. Travel crib and bassinet available by request. Living room: full-sized sofa bed with a 4" memory foam sofa bed mattress. The mattress is 58" x 72" - larger than a full, smaller than a queen. KITCHEN: - gas stove with oven - microwave - dishes, cutlery, glasses, pots, pans, knives, wine opener, etc. - oil, spices, salt, and pepper - coffee maker (coffee, creamer, sugar), kettle + many types of tea BATHROOM -fabulous water pressure -toiletries include: shampoo/conditioner/bodywash, q-tips, spare toothbrush, body lotion, etc. -hair dryer -towels TV AND WI-FI: - 40" flat screen TV with a Roku Streaming Stick which has Netflix, news, sports, and many other free channels; we don't have cable. - Chromecast - Dish WiFi STAIRS/ACCESSIBILITY - There is one stair to step down into the unit. - The path leading up to the unit has gravel and stepping stones. KIDS - books. - plates, cups, utensils for kids. - recommendations for playgrounds and kid-friendly events if you need them. -travel crib and bassinet available by request. NO SMOKING - no smoking, vaping, 420, or incense burning allowed in the unit. Please take it outside, at least 10 feet from the entrance. - we charge a $200 cleaning fee if we smell smoke in the unit. The amount of cleaning that goes into the unit after someone has smoked in it is enormous. “Airing it out” is not enough. LGBTQIA/ALL WELCOME! - We welcome everyone.
