If we could give this house better than a perfect score, we would. From the moment we walked into it our jaws dropped. The view of the lake and the mountains from every room of the house is breathtaking. Pictures don't do it justice. The house is so bright, modern, and cozy. It makes you not want to leave. We enjoyed a cup of coffee and a glass of wine on the deck, and used the BBQ grill while enjoying the perfect view. Our daughters were excited to see a family of 6 deer and 2 otters in the backyard. We made s'mores on the firepit by the lake. One great thing about this place is how peaceful it is. We could not have asked for a better place to spend our Christmas vacation. Thank you Howard for being so responsive to any question or request we had and especially thank you for making the house so welcoming. It was really appreciated. We drove 10 hours to get here and it was worth every minute of it. We spent 7 days here and each one was filled with wonderful memories.

Wow! Our family recently enjoyed a weekend at this beautifully renovated home overlooking Claytor Lake. It was clear that this property was meticulously designed to provide a perfect blend of comfort, style, and natural beauty. The interior design was tastefully done, with a modern yet cozy aesthetic that instantly made us feel at home. The open-concept layout seamlessly transitioned between the kitchen and living spaces, creating a warm atmosphere with lots of seating. The kitchen was fully equipped with high-end appliances and a thoughtful selection of cookware. There was attention to detail in every room, from the carefully chosen decor to the plush furnishings. The dock provided a perfect spot for morning coffee or evening cocktails, with comfortable seating and breathtaking views. The communication and hospitality of the host was exceptional. I highly recommend this property to anyone seeking a rejuvenating stay by the lake. We are already planning our next visit this summer!
