Good little place to stay. Check in was easy with the lockbox, and managed to park just opposite the house. there is a Co-op just a few meters away which we found convenient. Had enough utilities in the kitchen to cook for ourselves. Shower was good and we both found the beds comfortable. Highly recommend.

We had a lovely stay in Houghton on the hill, the house was really nice and had everything we needed.

James and Jenny took our booking at very short notice (the same day), and our stay was perfect. Gorgeous cottage, quiet surroundings. Easy to get to the both of the universities in Leicester. The hosts responded quickly when I messaged them about anything. Only problem is that terrestrial TV reception is bad, but you can go onto TV streaming services instead and the internet is good.
