The place is in a good location for exploring the city. Very spacious and cheap. Good communication with host. The listing didn't make it clear whether the flat was private accommodation or shared with other guests or the host. This kept me on edge, not knowing if others were about to arrive. The towels and bedding didn't smell clean. The bathroom was smelly and the bathtub/shower very dirty. Toilet room was clean. The bed needs replacing as some crucial slats are missing and many held together with tape. I didn't sleep well and woke regularly due to hip pains because of it. I didn't have hot water to start with until I messaged the host who explained that I had to run the tab for a very long time before getting it. I had a good time in Riga.

Appena arrivata non trovavo la chiave per aprire la porta. La casa troppo fredda, l'acqua calda non c'era così ho dovuto scaldarla. Il letto è da sostituire il materasso, ha un buco al centro e le lenzuola e asciugamani puzzavano di muffa. La zona è tranquilla, facile spostarsi a piedi, rangiunggibili in 15 minuti a piedi: stazione, città vecchia, centri commerciali. Veramente ottima posizione. Giusto rapporto qualità/prezzo. Grazie, a presto!

A really good place in Riga, Dainis is a good host and super reactive if needed. I recommend that place!

Old and beautiful building in city center of Riga - perfect stay, it was clean and Dainis is very responsive. Really recommended place
