The village beach is just a short 200-metre stroll from the cottage, and offers plenty of sand at low tide, ideal for a gentle swim or paddle. The bustling resort of Cromer lies 11 miles north of Bacton, passing by a collection of seaside villages with quiet beaches along the way. The Norfolk Broads are also within easy reach of Fisherman’s Cottage, with the Broadland town of Stalham situated just 6 miles away, offering boat hire as well as being home to the interesting Museum of the Broads.
