We booked the property as a base for the family to stay and for my sister to get ready at before her wedding. The house was exactly what we needed, plenty of space, lovely rooms and a beautiful garden for photos. The games room is a great touch and we had a nice relaxed night before the wedding enjoying some games. Phil was a very attentive host and although we didn’t need to contact him as all instructions were clear I’m confident he would’ve been right there on hand to help if needed. Thanks so much for a lovely stay!

We had a great stay at Phil’s lovely home. Despite being a very large house it felt very homely and cosy. We ended up spending most of our time in the kitchen space - a great hub of the home! The garden is lovely too and we were blessed by good weather. We ended up going for a lovely walk too - some great public footpaths nearby. Just a note , if you’re bringing a dog you’ll need to keep a close eye on it as the garden isn’t enclosed, and you’ll need to make sure it doesn’t venture into neighbours garden! The road is a tad noisy at the front of the house when in the bedrooms but you don’t notice otherwise. There is an Aga in the oven which we were a tad intimidated by at first but it was actually easy to get to grips with. Phil was a very helpful host and even sent something that had been left my accident without a hint of a moan. Thank you!

We had such a lovely stay at Phil’s home. Our friends came over from Spain for the weekend for my boyfriend’s 30th. The airbnb is a 30 minute drive from Stansted airport. The house was such a great space especially the large kitchen table and the garden space. The weather was lovely so we were able to use the bbq! The pub in the village was nice as well, with a garden next to the river. Phil was accommodating with the check in and instructions were clear. Thanks for such a great weekend !
