Enjoy the serene charm of beautiful Heggedal, a peaceful Oslo suburb. Relax in a spacious room with a private bathroom. Nature enthusiasts will love the nearby hiking and cross-country ski trails, just a 2-minute walk away. You can reach the nearest lake within a 10-minute walk or the beach in less than 9 minutes by car. For those travelling by car, this is an ideal location. Alternatively, the nearest bus stop is 9 min away on foot, you can access Oslo via bus and train in over an hour. Great area offering nature experiences. Our place is just minutes away from the nearest hiking/cross-country ski routes by walking. Beautiful Høymyrdammen Lake is 10 minutes away on foot which offers wonderful scenes. The nearest beach is also 9 minutes by car, or you can hike there as we do! In the house, there is a fully equipped kitchen as we live in the property too. Guests are welcome to use everything to cook their meals.
Amazing place to stay just outside Oslo where parking is included. Helin was very proactive and responsive. The place was spacious and squeaky clean. I would definitely recommend. :)
Absolutely amazing house that is wonderfully decorated. The room was big, clean, and spacious. The kitchen had everything you need to cook a nice and hearty meal. Absolutely lovely to come back to this place after a long day! Helin was also extremely helpful and friendly! Highly reccomend this place to everyone!
This is an enjoyable Norwegian suburb where you feel the calm and peaceful atmosphere while seeing the Oslo sentrum from your window.
Discover this charming Norwegian suburb, offering a tranquil atmosphere with Oslo city centre visible from your window. There are plenty of popular hiking routes in all directions. If you're heading to the Oslo city centre, it's a quick 25-minute drive or over an hour by bus or train. You can even take the ferry early in the morning from Slemmestad and see amazing Oslofjord!
When utilising public transportation, the Ruter app can be used to both plan your route and buy tickets. To come here, you will need a Zone 2V ticket (plus the zone ticket where you are travelling from. For instance, if you are coming from Oslo you will need Zone 1 and Zone 2V tickets).
1)Travelling from Oslo centre to Heggedal or Asker station is a viable option. Bus 285 services the nearest bus stop, departing every 30 minutes from Heggedal station and at specific times from Asker station.
2)Another route is Bus 250 directly from Oslo centre, followed by a 25-minute walk. Do keep in mind that a significant portion of this walk traverses an uphill path through the forest, making it less advisable if you have large and/or heavy luggage.
3)During rush hours, additional alternatives such as bus 296 or ferry services become available. The Ruter app will dynamically show these options based on the time of your arrival, offering flexibility to accommodate your schedule.
If you are travelling from Oslo Gardermoen Airport, again you can take the train to Asker or Heggedal station, and then take the bus.
