Upper Seagry · 袖珍小屋 · 1室1床1.0卫 · 可住2人 · Piglet's House
Set in eight acres of beautiful Wiltshire Countryside on the edge of the Cotswolds, Piglet's House can be found within the grounds of an 18th century farm. Piglet's House contains a small but well equipped kitchen, a desk for 'working from home', a roll-top bathtub, shower and loo, TV and sofa, high-speed Wifi, heating and air-conditioning. Easily accessed from Junction 17 of the M4, it is set down a long driveway and has it’s own off-road parking spot for one car. Babies/toddlers welcome too. Piglet’s house is a unique “Piggery” that we designed and had built by ‘By Boon’ who specialise in exceptional purpose build structures. Piglet’s house comes equipped with everything you need from the kitchen with an oven, fridge and hob. Piglet’s house is run from our Solar system which powers the heat pump that enables to heat or chill the cabin to your preferred settings making it lovely and cool in the summer with the air-conditioning turned on, or a cosy hideaway in the chilly months where you can curl up and look out at a beautiful view whilst snuggled up inside. Whilst Piglet’s House has been designed with relaxation in mind we were very conscious that the office too often is contained within our laptops and must come travelling with us. Therefore, should they so wish, guests can enjoy the handy desk and chair for setting up a ‘working from home’ station and catching up on their emails. Then when the sun goes down the deck provides the perfect spot for sundowners or stargazing, or you can relax in the roll-top bathtub inside with some delightful bath salts scented with home-grown lavender. Whilst Piglet's House cannot accommodate more than 2 adults, we do welcome babies and toddlers if parents wish to bring their own travel cots / toddler beds. Please note that as much as we would love to welcome pets we cannot due to the location of Piglet’s House as the tempting countryside right on the doorstep would lead to too many muddy paws inside during the winter months. The location of Piglet’s House is one of it’s best features, with beautiful countryside views and yet easily accessed from Junction 17 of the M4. It is set down a long farm track and has it’s own off-road parking spot for one car. Myself and my best friend stayed here for a girls walking weekend trip. This was the most beautiful, peaceful and calming place. There were loads of walks to go on which was fantastic. It was set up with everything you could need and the hosts were so lovely and helpful. As two girls were always worried about feeling safe, but the second we got there we felt completely safe and the area was so private and peaceful. We would definitely come back and stay, it was incredible!
beautiful place 😍 we really enjoyed our stay. Great location for exploring local areas. Eliza and Richard had thought of everything, great attention to detail. highly recommend staying there.
The place is absolutely gorgeous! It’s the perfect little escape and has everything you could want. We adored the interiors and the views are just beautiful! Super easy to get too which usually is hard with somewhere like this, we popped to the Wellesley Arms just down the road for dinner which was also a brilliant little pub. A lovely walk is right next to the lodge, with the village about 15 mins to get too however if you fancy just a cosy stay in to relax and enjoy, this is perfect. We loved the firewood and marshmallows - such a sweet touch and will 100% come back again!
nice little get away but with all the utilities of a home. wonderful area wonderful hosts
The property lies just to the south west of the popular village of Upper Seagry which has a pub within easy walking distance on a footpath from the house, across the fields. Malmesbury and the local Waitrose lies 4.5 miles to the north and Chippenham with a host of supermarkets, shops and its main line station (to London Paddington), lies 6 miles to the south. Tetbury, Cirencester and the City of Bath are also all easily accessible.
Due to the remote location of the property a car is advised for getting around, other than to the village pub which can be reached on foot.
